The Opportunity
We’re seeking a Finance Process Improvement Lead to join our team! This position is based in our Kelowna, BC office, which is a requirement to ensure collaboration with the broader team.
This role is ideal for a highly analytical and detail-oriented finance professional with a strong background in process improvement, billing accuracy, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate proactively identifies opportunities for automation and efficiency enhancements, driving greater productivity, excelling at collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to streamline financial processes and leveraging technology to improve reporting accuracy and operational effectiveness.
The Finance Process Improvement Lead is responsible for:
Reporting and Analysis
• Prepare weekly and monthly KPI dashboards and reports, for AR, AP, and inventory metrics
• Cross-functional collaboration to ensure timely and accurate access to financial data and reports
• Assist with cost accounting and inventory tracking
• Support delivery of interim and year-end audit requirements
• Assist the Manager, FP&A in updates/maintenance to dashboards and reports
Financial Systems and Processes
• Ensure deadlines for AR and AP month-end close are met or exceeded
• Assist in identifying and implementing business process improvements
• Act as the team’s subject matter expert (SME) in the implementation and maintenance of a new automated service billing platform
• Document financial processes in compliance with the organization’s Quality Management System
• Support finance staff with technical training and process change management
• Execute ad-hoc and special projects, as directed by the Controller
What You Bring
Candidate Must Have’s
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, computer science, or a related discipline
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis and/or process improvement in a diversified and high-volume business environment
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, MS Power BI, and SQL
• Hands on expertise in data visualization translating financial insights into actionable strategies
This will make you stand out:
• Experience with MS Dynamics suite of ERP software, MS Fabric platform, and/or MS Power platform tools
• Project Management experience in financial system enhancements, automation, or operational improvements
• Experience with billing/invoicing tools for high-volume, recurring, usage-based revenue streams (e.g. SaaS or telecom)
• Demonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining internal controls, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.

This position is for an existing vacancy within our Finance team.
The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $75,000 CAD. The range posted is a guide and may not represent the compensation offered to the successful candidate. Compensation is based on the skills, knowledge, experience, and qualifications brought to the role.
